Zalkin is bringing a broad range of capping technology to PACK EXPO International 2026, with solutions on display for flexible production, integrated lines, high-speed applications, and long-term equipment support. FeedFlex + FlexEdge Zalkin’s new flexible feeding and inline capping technologies will be demonstrated as part of a live personal care line with Pacific and P.E. Labellers. FeedFlex automates the feeding and orientation of caps and pump-style closures, while FlexEdge provides modular inline capping with continuous-motion tracking. Together, they support a wide range of closure formats, fast changeovers, and smoother handling for low-viscosity products. The integrated line brings together Pacific filling, Zalkin cap feeding and capping, and P.E. Labellers pressure-sensitive labeling, showing how specialized technologies can work together around the bottle, closure, product, and production requirements. Rotary Capping Turret in the MBF FILLBLOCK Zalkin’s rotary capping technology will also be featured within the MBF FILLBLOCK for miniature spirits bottles. The integrated 24-head turret applies aluminum ROPP closures at speeds up to 700 BPM, demonstrating Zalkin’s capability within high-speed filling systems. Life Cycle Management Display Visitors can also explore Zalkin’s life cycle support offering, including upgrades, maintenance tools, cap-treatment solutions, preventative maintenance, conversions, parts, training, and service designed to help keep capping equipment performing over the long term. From robotic closure handling and continuous-motion capping to rotary turret integration and aftermarket support, the Zalkin booth will highlight capping expertise across a wide range of applications and production environments. 👋 Welcome to the team, Nikolaj! Nikolaj Thidemann has joined OMRON in the Nordic as Field Application Engineer, based in Køge, Denmark. Nikolaj holds a degree in Automation Technology from KEA in Copenhagen and joins us from a technical support role, where he helped customers with automation solutions and technical consulting — and backed up the sales team along the way. He already knows OMRON well: he spent his internship with us in Denmark, working mainly with Sysmac Studio and sensor integration. 💬 "OMRON has a lot of great technology that I have always been fascinated by, and the Field Application Engineer role is a great combination of technical problem-solving and working with customers," Nikolaj says. "I'm looking forward to developing my skills, working with new technologies and helping customers find good solutions to their challenges." In his new role, Nikolaj will support customers with technical expertise, application guidance and solution development across OMRON's automation portfolio. Working closely with customers and our sales team, he will help identify the right technologies for each application and support everything from implementation to troubleshooting. 🏊 🚴 🏃 Outside work you'll find him training for triathlon — with a Half Ironman on next year's calendar. Les machines tournent, les équipes sont à leur poste… et vous êtes au cœur de l’atelier, avec nous. Comment c’est fabriqué ? À quoi ça sert ? Quels métiers se cachent derrière chaque sac ? Venez poser vos questions à celles et ceux qui les fabriquent. 🎥 Un aperçu du parcours vous attend dans la vidéo ⬇️ L’an dernier, 110 personnes ont poussé nos portes. La vente de sacs solidaires lors de cette journée a aussi permis de récolter 580 € pour la lutte contre le cancer.
