How do you operate a 3D printer for #microelectronics whose components each run their own software – in five separate windows?
At TNO's Holst Centre in Eindhoven, researchers develop 3D printing processes for microelectronics. The tool ran on a Beckhoff backbone, but its UV projector and alignment tool each came with their own software – not all of it compatible.
What broke the deadlock was architectural: One PC-based controller now acts as process orchestrator in a MainDevice/SubDevice configuration. @In Time Tec built the automation layer above it in C++ and Structured Text, with EtherCAT distributed clocks keeping the time-critical image processing in step.
The benefits: one interface instead of five control windows · fiducial alignment on the LDT tool: 30 to 50 µm instead of 60 to 80 µm by hand · one automation layer handling communication between all components
Today the researchers run the machine from a single screen and spend their hours refining the print process, not the software.

Wracamy wspomnieniami do Jarmarku Spichrzowego w Grudziądzu!
Tegoroczna edycja była wyjątkowa – miasto świętowało swoje 735. urodziny, a przez trzy dni centrum Grudziądza tętniło życiem. Koncerty, wydarzenia plenerowe, warsztaty, atrakcje dla całych rodzin, Jarmark Staroci oraz rejsy po Wiśle stworzyły niepowtarzalną atmosferę wspólnego świętowania.
Cieszymy się, że Papiernia Saica w Grudziądzu była partnerem tego wyjątkowego wydarzenia. Wspieranie inicjatyw, które integrują lokalną społeczność oraz promują kulturę i tradycje regionu, jest ważnym elementem naszej działalności.
