Dans cet extrait, il prend l'exemple des paquets de chips pour illustrer une réalité souvent méconnue : une atmosphère protectrice conforme au moment du conditionnement ne suffit pas toujours à garantir la qualité du produit jusqu'à sa date limite de consommation.
L'intégrité de l'emballage joue également un rôle essentiel. Une micro-fuite peut modifier l'atmosphère interne et accélérer la dégradation du produit, avec des conséquences directes sur sa texture, son goût ou sa durée de conservation.

At MOM PACKAGING, a high-performing machine is one whose behaviour you control over time. SmartConnect has served that requirement since 2015. It is our IoT and remote maintenance box: it connects dosing machines to the MyMOM platform, to collect production data and intervene remotely on equipment.
In 2015, Industry 4.0 was still just a promise for many workshops. Eleven years on, the module records up to 90 million data points per day on a single machine, and enables secure remote maintenance without sending a technician on site.
This connected-service approach now equips our machines in more than 60 countries. It extends a know-how that MOM has designed and manufactured in France since 1927.
