Handling sheet metal at high speed is a real challenge: acceleration forces are high, surfaces are oily, and parts must not be marked or deformed. This is precisely why COVAL developed the CTC Series high-performance bell-type suction cups for these demanding applications. Why? ▶️ Their bell shape provides significant deflection, enabling them to adapt to flat, convex, or more angular sheet metal surfaces. ▶️ Internal stops reinforce sliding resistance and allow thin sheets to be gripped without marking or deforming the parts. ▶️ In terms of material, thermoplastic polyurethane offers excellent resistance to wear and oil. A real advantage for automotive applications, particularly in stamping, metal forming, glass, or assembly, where stability, precision, and high-speed handling make all the difference.
