🚨 Le PPWR entre en vigueur dans 6 jours
La filière de l'emballage subit sa plus grande transformation depuis 30 ans. Le nouveau règlement européen PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) fixe des cap stricts pour réduire nos déchets à la source.
Le règlement (UE) 2025/40 relatif aux emballages et aux déchets d’emballages (PPWR), entrera en application le 12 août 2026. Pour les façonniers d'emballage souple, les enjeux sont majeurs :
Dès le 12 août 2026
→ Déclaration de conformité obligatoire par référence
→ PFAS interdits dans les emballages alimentaires (seuil : 25 ppb)
→ Sans dossier technique, la non-conformité est présumée
D'ici 2030
→ 100 % des emballages devront être recyclables (grades A, B ou C minimum)
→ Les structures multi-couches complexes devront être repensées, car elles sont désormais interdites.
→ 30 à 35 % de matière recyclée (PCR) dans les plastiques

Downtime on a handling line is rarely one big failure. It is a black poly bag the sensor never registered, a shrink-wrapped tray the beam went straight through, a light curtain that stops the pallet along with the operator.
Each of those has a fix. The awkward part is that the fixes tend to arrive from different suppliers.
One automated warehouse line runs on twenty detection points across three machines. Telemecanique Sensors covers all twenty from one range. Ultrasonic for when colour and shape stop being reliable. Polarised photoelectric for transparent objects. Light curtains with muting, so the pallet passes and the operator still cannot.
Which matters less on the day you specify the line than on the day it stops and you need one phone call instead of four.
