Retour sur les Journées Usines Ouvertes 2026 👇
Les 20 et 21 mars, nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir près de 180 visiteurs chez Steriflow : collégiens, lycéens et étudiants ainsi que des particuliers venus découvrir notre environnement industriel.
Au programme : immersion dans nos métiers, échanges avec nos équipes et découverte concrète de notre savoir-faire.
Partager notre quotidien et ouvrir les portes de l’industrie aux jeunes générations comme au grand public est toujours une expérience enrichissante.

Portrait collaborateur – Les 40 ans de Philippe !
🔧 Poste : Responsable collage
🎓 Parcours
CAP mécanicien tourneur et ajusteur, puis CAP mécanicien d’entretien.
Après plusieurs petits boulots sans réussir à trouver un poste dans le domaine de la mécanique, j’ai effectué 2 ans de service militaire.
Je suis ensuite arrivé chez PANEM (encore SEPCO à l’époque) le 1er avril 1986, soit 40 ans dans l’entreprise !
Au fil des années, j’ai occupé plusieurs postes :
- En tôlerie
- En livraison et montage chez les clients
- Au montage des meubles et des cellules
Avant de terminer au collage, où je travaille aujourd’hui.
📅 Mon quotidien chez PANEM
- Préparation des coquilles (assemblage boîtier / crochet)
- Usinage de la mousse
- Débit de profilés
- Collage
- Moussage
- Lecture de plans
- Mesure et contrôle qualité des découpes
- Utilisation de nombreux équipements (presse, riveteuse, encolleuse, raboteuse…)
💡 Mes qualités selon mes collègues
✔️Travailleur
✔️Polyvalent
✔️Franc
✔️Toujours prêt à aider et à transmettre mon savoir
✔️Excellente connaissance acquise au fil des années des pièces et des procédures
Et… parfois un peu râleur…

🎓 Background
I earned a CAP in maintenance mechanics.
After several small jobs without managing to find a position in the mechanical field, I completed two years of military service.
I then joined PANEM (still called SEPCO at the time) on April 1st, 1986, meaning 40 years in PANEM !
Over the years, I have held several positions:
• Sheet metal workshop
• Delivery and installation at customer sites
• Assembly of cabinets and cells
Before finishing in the bonding department, where I work today.
📅 My day-to-day at PANEM
• Preparing shells (housing / hook assembly)
• Foam machining
• Cutting profiles
• Bonding
• Foaming
• Reading technical drawings
• Measuring and quality control of cuts
• Using various equipment
💡 Key strengths

✔️ Frank
✔️ Always ready to help and share my knowledge
✔️ Excellent knowledge of parts and procedures gained over the years

Milk, juices, smoothies, plant-based drinks, kombucha, sauce… all of these products require perfect hygiene at every step.
But one point remains key: the twist-off cap. As the final contact before sealing, it can reintroduce microorganisms and directly impact:
• Shelf life
• Product stability
• Overall quality
⚡Since 2017, several Pulsed Light decontamination machines have been integrated for dairy and dairy-free products by producers in Europe and the United States.

Just back from the biscuit people Conference in Bali, the energy is still at its peak! These three intense days were marked by exciting exchanges and major innovations for the biscuit industry.

👉 Packaging is not just about design.
It is a critical element that determines:
- product texture (to keep a biscuit crunchy)
- protection against moisture, oxygen, and contamination
- and ultimately… consumer satisfaction
One key takeaway from his talk:
Even defects invisible to the naked eye (on the order of a few microns) can be enough to quickly compromise product quality.
Another important insight:
👉 Packaging cannot be considered in isolation.
It is a balance between the material, the product, and the industrial process.
