Au fil des semaines, des poussières, de la condensation ou des vapeurs de process se déposent imperceptiblement sur la lentille du pyromètre.
Le phénomène est invisible à l'œil nu, ne déclenche aucune alarme, mais atténue progressivement le rayonnement reçu par le capteur. Résultat : l'appareil indique une température de plus en plus sous-estimée par rapport à la réalité de votre procédé.
